    For some homeschooling curriculum tips…
    A Beka has fabulous phonics, reading, and writing. Especially at the beginner levels.
    I love Sequential Spelling but you won’t really need that the first year. It’s unconventional but the system turns children into natural spellers.
    Saxon Math is awesome. Once the child is introduced to a new concept, they will continuing having those problems in mixed practice so they never forget how to work a type of problem. Most math curriculum only give the child a chapter to learn and master the concept and then it is quickly forgotten because they are not called on it much to use it later. Saxon Math eliminates this problem.
    I’ve been using Landmark for Bible, history, and science and really like it. It keeps it fairly basic & simple. Not a huge overload of details kids forget anyway. It’s to the point which helps kids grasp more info.
