Here is the last week in my life… in one nifty ‘lil post.
Friday, May 22, our “daughter” (as in, not-really-our-daughter-but-we-think-of-her-as-one-anyway) Ada graduated from high school. I may not be her birth mother, but there wasn’t any mom there prouder than me!
Saturday, May 23-25, And then, we all headed to The Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas, to spend the weekend with Shane’s family. I didn’t take any pictures inside the swimming area because I was having too much fun playing! My mother-in-law did, and I will post those later. Below is the slide my girls would NOT get off of. No, that isn’t my child on the slide 🙂
Let’s see… I bought a swim suit (HALP!!!!)… and then actually wore it (triple HALP!!!). No, there aren’t pictures of that (I truly hope, lol!).
And the cutest cover-up known to man…
Oh yeah! I won a pair of pants! I’m not kidding 🙂 Thanks, Jenny!!!
I was finally able to line-dry my laundry because the rain actally took a break (but it’ll be back next week!).
Abby Grace had her first T-Ball game on Tuesday night. It does not feel like she should be old enough to play T-Ball!
On Thursday, the girls and I went to Falls Creek to visit Daddy at Children’s Camp… he is there with our friend and Children’s Pastor as a sponsor.
Today is Ada Marie’s 19th birthday… we celebrated over the weekend. She was truly surprised. But today is her “real” birthday. Happy Birthday, Baby!
Tonight, I plan to work my tail off while Abby Grace and Reese spend the night with my parents. That will leave little Meleah as my only charge. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!
Ada Marie says
You are so sweet…mom I wish that I could see Abby Grace at the T-ball game… I hope she won… tell everyone that I love them.. I LOVE YOU
