Giveaway and Review: Skin MD Naturals

Have you heard of Skin MD Naturals? I had not, until I was contacted and asked to try it for myself.

What I like about Skin MD Naturals:
When I first put on the lotion, I thought it was not as thick as “normal” lotions, and I wondered if it would really absorb as quickly as the bottle said it would. I was not disappointed! I rubbed the lotion in, and it almost immediately absorbed. It did not “sit” on my skin like other, thicker lotions tend to do.

I also noticed the lack of “smell,” to the lotion, as it is free of perfumes. Skin MD Naturals has a natural, plant-y scent to it, that I could barely smell a few minutes after putting on the lotion.

Skin MD Naturals is NOT greasy. I love that! And, my hands felt smoother and softer after application.

Another factor that I LOVE and appreciate is that Skin MD Naturals does NOT test on animals, and uses no animal by-products (I mean, really. Who wants animal waste on their skin?! EW!).

I truly like this lotion, and I am so pleased to be able to offer a bottle to one of my readers!

    I like that it is easily absorbed. I would like to try!

    BTW: You said EW! to animal byproducts, so I was wondering if you were aware of what makes up lanolin – something found in many lotions. (It was described to me as sheep sweat! It is from boiled down wool – what is left – so….sheep sweat. Yuck!)

    I like that they have a facial moisturizer with SPF. I would love to try that, it’s always hard to find a good “natural” sunscreen.

    Skin MD does not test it’s products on animals That is very important Why does any company have to test on animals? Can’t they get the same results from research on the computer?

    I like that the lotion is not greasy…nothing is worse than putting on lotion and feeling like it is all over your hands the rest of the night.
