In lieu of writing something interesting, I’ll clue you in on my disappearance last few days.
For those of you who haven’t noticed, I have not been on the internet AT. ALL. for almost 4 days (except to print my grocery list). It has been a nice break, and part of my Lent challenge.
I read TWO books, thanks to my Kindle app (more on that later), almost finished my coupon clipping and organizing, made a huge dent in my laundry, went grocery shopping (good deals, bad experience… 2 girls threw huge fits!), and spent a lot of time with Shane and the girls.
I was even in bed at 10:30 last night! Sooooo nice!
I have been reevaluating.
I promised myself that after Blissdom, there would be big changes made, both here, and in our home. I am working on implementing those changes, and it just takes time. And, that is okay.
I know the importance of scheduling posts to keep you readers happy, but there wasn’t time to write “scheduled” posts this weekend 😀
I will be back to my normal writing schedule tonight. I have a lot of ideas floating racing around in my head that I cannot wait to share with you! So, stay tuned!

good for you girl…i’m afraid that all the wonderfulness of cyber friends and ‘family’ has alienated many people from friends and family that God has placed in their lives that are living in their very homes, neighborhoods and towns….balance…that’s what we all need…
It is so easy to have the title ‘stay at home mom’ and not really be at home mentally. Good for you for taking time to concentrate 100% on the very reasons that you are home!
🙂 Holly
Thanks, Holly!
It is so easy to get caught up in the online world, as I have made so many dear friends. Lucky for me, they are dear enough to still be here for me upon my “return”!
You are awesome! I’m glad that you’re putting first things first. That’s where I am too. I’m trying to keep up with my home and my family before all the other stuff. You inspire me!
