Congrats, Esther! Please be looking for an email from me! Thanks to all who entered and shared this giveaway! 🙂

**************

Until recently, I have used cloth diapers pretty much 100 percent of the time. Unfortunately, most cloth diapers (and a-l-l of the ones I own!) are specifically for babies under 30 pounds. And while Cam isn’t quite that hefty yet, he is incredibly chunky, and his cloth diapers are too tight in many places. I’ve tried adjusting the sizes, but they simply aren’t working right now. And since he isn’t inclined to walk at this time, the chances of him slimming down – and allowing his cloth diapers to fit once again – just isn’t happening at this time.

So we are currently using disposable diapers. While I prefer cloth, I am truly grateful for a quick and easy fix. We go with what works for our families, and sometimes what works needs a tweak, right? I know that cloth isn’t an option for every family, and with that in mind, I have an awesome giveaway for you!

CVS/pharmacy works with many brands to ensure it has a variety of products that suits all of its customers’ needs. One brand, P&G, has recently released a new line of upgraded Pampers/Luvs diapers, training pants and wipes.

Pampers Launches Large Product Innovation Across Entire Line of Diapers and Wipes: Pampers, the world’s leading diaper brand, today is celebrating the launch of major upgrades across its entire line of diapers, training pants and wipes.  By interviewing over 9,000 moms about what was important for their baby, Pampers found the number one unmet need is a diaper that provides superior overnight dryness.  Pampers incorporated this firsthand insight, as well as the brand’s deep understanding of baby and baby’s needs, to design a diaper that both mom and baby can count on for up to 12 hours of overnight protection.

“At Pampers, we strive to meet the needs of every mom and baby,” said Fama Francisco, Pampers Vice President and General Manager. “In the last 18 months, we’ve listened to thousands of moms on what they want for their baby. They told us a diaper that provides superior dryness, comfort and fit, particularly overnight.”

Key highlights include:

  • Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers’ softest diaper and the #1 choice of hospitals, is now available through size 5.
  • Pampers Baby Dry is up to three times drier than ordinary diapers and provides up to 12 hours of overnight protection and three layers of absorbency.
  • Pampers Cruisers are now more absorbent and offer Pampers’ best fit for all the ways babies play freely.

Moms are frequently challenged with the early morning wake-up call to change a leaky diaper.  Pampers recently sponsored a survey of over 1,000 moms with little ones ages 3 and under. The survey found that nearly 1 in 3 mothers of babies age 1 or younger (30%) responded that they expect a wet, leaky diaper to be the #1 reason their babies may wake up at 3 a.m.  Furthermore, the leading technique mothers of babies age 3 or younger (32%) use to help their babies have an uninterrupted night of sleep is to put a dry diaper on them before bed.

You can purchase these diapers and wipes at CVS/pharmacy! Giveaway

It’s really crazy how these diapers came at just the right time. I had been using disposables for the church nursery workers, but that was the only place, so I didn’t have much of a stash. I was about to have to figure out what diapers I wanted to use on a daily basis, when I was contacted about reviewing these new diapers. Diapers work so differently on each child, that I was more than happy to get some of the trial-and-error of diapering out of the way.

I have used Pampers in the past, and I really did like these. All three, the Baby Dry, Swaddlers, and Cruisers kept the messes contained {in all honesty, not as well as cloth, but the best I’ve seen with disposable!}. We rarely had leaks with the Pampers, and if we did, they were minimal. The Pampers even contained the really messy diapers, which is a huge plus for me!

The Luvs were a bit of a different story. I know many, many moms love their Luvs, and that is great! Our family has never had much luck with Luvs, and unfortunately this time was no different. I don’t know if we just used them at the wrong times, but we had several blow-outs with the Luvs, resulting in a bath and clothing changes. I gave it a good try and used almost the entire bag, but I finally set the remaining diapers aside. The Luvs did well with wet-only diapers, so that is definitely a plus! A problem I had with Luvs in the past was the diaper tabs ripping off of the diaper before we could use it. I am pleased to say that did not happen at all this time.

The Pampers wipes were soft, yet durable, and were great, especially for on-the-go. I never used cloth wipes when we were out of the house – even with cloth diapers – and these wipes were better than the Sam’s Club brand I had been using. I will definitely purchase them next time I need wipes!

I usually buy Luvs because they are so much cheaper and we haven’t had any issues with them. I like Pampers Swaddlers the more because they are softer.

  2. Ashley C says

  6. Bethany Brant says

To be honest, with this baby I haven’t had too many diaper issues. I’ve used Huggies, Pampers and a brand I’ve been getting through a program in my county called Curity. I really like the name-brand diapers best but its hard to argue with the Curity diapers when they’re free and they’ve been working for us.

  7. Casey Mclendon says

We really use both brands and these are the ONLY brands of disposible diapers we like. Now when my 7 yr old was a baby I did not like Luvs at all but they have changed! And work great!

  8. raquel perez says

I do use Pampers and sometimes I use Luvs… I follow you on FB and I follow Pampers on FB as well. Thanks for the chance!!

  9. Marianna says

We actually use cloth diapers and then occasionally either brand when we travel. Thanks for the chance to win!
