Using Roboform and Google Toolbar

Last week I discussed mail, and the wonderful freebies the mailman delivers so often. Well, I recently discovered a little tool that make this very thing so much easier!

It is a program called Roboform, which you can download for free, and it automatically fills in forms for you online with just one click. I had read about Roboform on various blogs, but I was leery about downloading something potentially dangerous to my computer.

What a pleasant surprise! Roboform rocks! It saves a ton of time, and fills out any form online for you, not just freebie requests. Another option for those of you who are nervous about downloads is the Google toolbar. Google is certainly a trusted source, and has an “autofill” feature similar to Roboform.

Funny story: after I downloaded Roboform, I neglected to mention it to my husband. When he saw the new toolbar (on his personal laptop, no less) he immediately assumed it was spyware, so he uninstalled it. So just be sure to let your spouse know when you download something new!

Another reason I am truly thankful for Roboform, is that I suffer from chronic tendonitis in my wrists. It tends to flare up after too much computer time. Starting a blog is probably not the best idea for someone with my condition (yes, they are hurting right now), but it is worth a little pain and suffering.
