Tonight’s CVS run was a bit of an adventure. I drove to my favorite one, and when I got there, I discovered it had closed at 6pm! Grrrr… Not to worry, I drove another 2 miles or so to the next one, and it was open! With only 10 minutes ’til closing, this is what I ended up with:

3 Jumbo Packs of Huggies- Earns $10 ECB)
1 Excedrin (24 tablets)- Earns $1 ECB
3 Febreze Products- Earns $5 ECB

Shelf price: $57.88 (like I would ever pay that!)

I used the following coupons:
.50 Febreze spray from today’s P&G insert
1.50 off Huggies (I had 3 of these from monthly Huggies mailers)
BOGO Febreze noticables coupon also from today’s insert
$2/1 Excedrin coupon from insert (makes it free plus overage)
1 4/$20 CVS Coupon (thanks to Be Thrifty Like Us for sharing this)
1 $2/off Huggies Supreme CVS coupon

I spent $19.98 of my ECBs that I earned a few days ago by buying 5 boxes of CVS tylenol (April monthly deal).

Total after all discounts: $4.35 OOP
Earned: another $16 ECB!

The best 10 minutes of shopping ever! I am hoping and praying that I have now stockpiled enough diapers to get me through potty training my 27-month old. Stay tuned!

Actually, I have not started yet. I plan to potty train over the summer. I have a LOT of diapers that I stockpiled at rock-bottom prices.

She is showing some interest in the potty, so maybe it will be sooner!?

Great trip! I got diapers this week also. I actually don’t have any kids in diapers but they are a great stock up item for baby showers. There seems to be a baby shower around here every couple months and I usually have a complete gift of essentials already in my cabinet that I paid nothing for!! I love those kind of gifts.

I concur with Cassie. I have all kinds of showers coming up. I stocked up on the lotions and diapers. I will use the diapers and pass along the lotions as fillers in my gifts. The consumables are not the cutest gifts to open at the shower but some of the most appreciative gifts after the baby is home. At least it was with me.
