Weekend in Review, Part 2

I nearly forgot to mention my success in the Webkinz department! Thanks to the Extravaganza, I am stocked up for the next several Birthday Parties we attend. Of course, Sara wants to keep ALL of them for herself, so they must go into hiding until further notice.

My trip to Albertsons:

At the special request of my sister, I bought fresh salmon which was on sale for only $3.99/lb! It was delicious, by the way.

Other items included:
3 bags of Allens Steam Supreme frozen vegetables (10/$10)
1 frozen Treetop Applejuice
2 bottles of Nestle Chocolate Syrup
1 box Crunch ‘N Munch

I had coupons for every item except the salmon and the juice. My Albertsons doubles coupons up to 50 cents, and triples up to 39 cents. So, the veggies were free! I used my Grocery Game list to match the coupons, a huge time saver.

Grand Total: $7.65!

A savings of $11.90, not bad.

The salmon, veggies and side of rice made for a yummy, frugal dinner!
