Let’s face it. The internet has allowed us to become pretty lazy when it comes to mail. Who knows how much money I have lost by forgetting to mail in a rebate form on time!?
Hopefully, you are aware of Walgreens wonderful free-bate program every month. If not, read this to get you started.
One of the pitfalls of rebates is failing to mail things in when necessary. Well, Walgreens shoppers, you can now save an extra 41 cents a month and submit your rebate online directly through the Walgreens website! Until recently, this was only being tested in a few states, but it is now available nation wide.
Here are the details from Walgreens:
About Walgreens EasySaver™
Get money back on your Walgreens purchases — whether you shop in-store or online. Start by picking up the EasySaver Catalog, available at your neighborhood Walgreens. Or download the catalog from the EasySaver Catalog page. While you shop online, look for products marked REBATE. Save your store receipts and online invoices or packing lists, then claim your rebates at the end of the month.
Please keep copies of all documents in your original submission until you receive your rebate check, gift card or other premium(s).
It’s easy to redeem your EasySaver™ rebate offers.
Find out how you can redeem Walgreens EasySaver rebates for gift cards, checks or eligible premiums.
- Log in and select REDEEM ONLINE from the EasySaver page.
- Choose the EasySaver catalog month and select Add receipt.
- Enter the receipt information for your in-store or online purchase and select Save receipt.
- After saving all your eligible receipts, select Continue.
- Select the rebate payment option you prefer, then select Continue.
- Review your information. When everything is correct, select Claim Rebates Now or Save and Return Later to add additional requests during the rest of the month. We will accept only one submission per month, so make sure your claim is complete when you choose Claim Rebates Now.
- A summary page will appear. Print this for your records and save your original receipts until you receive your rebate check, gift card or other premium(s).
Please remember: If you submit online, we must receive your submission by the postmark date indicated in that month’s EasySaver Catalog.
How simple is that? I am so excited about this! One tip: always select a Walgreens gift card for your rebate. You will receive an extra 10% on the gift card, and can use it to buy next month’s free-bate items.

Wow! That was easier than doing it on paper. Thanks so much for the head’s up.

If I choose to get the rebate on a gift card, does that mean Walgreens mails me a new gift card each month with that month’s rebates +10% on it? Thanks.

Candace-
Thanks for stopping by!
They will send you a gift card the first time you submit a rebate. After that, they can reload your existing gift card each month with the new amount, plus the extra 10%. All they need are the numbers on the back. Keep it in a safe place!

I, too, am a Southern California girl… but may soon relocate to Indiana!
Question about the Walgreens online rebate. I logged in and went to the EasySaver page. I am having trouble locating anything that says “Redeem Online.” Can you please help?!
