This post over at Stretching a Buck has me rethinking my decision to give up Vegetarianism. What do you think?

Help! Where I can buy truly all-natural chicken breast that does not cost an arm and a leg? (no pun intended)

Also if you have a local meat packing store that sells to the public you can sometimes get fresh natural chicken cutlets that way. My local butcher sells chicken breast for alot cheaper then the grocery stores do.

Angela, I need to investigate this. Thanks for the tip, I never would have thought of this!

To my local readers: anyone know if this option is available? I would LOVE to go this route for healthy, frugal chicken.

We bought chicken from a chicken farm. It was grain fed and not injected with any of that stuff. Though it did cost more, if we were actually getting more it probably evened out!
