More Notes From CVS!

Another visit to my favorite store, another tidbit to share with my frugal friends!

I took the girls with me today, since my summer schedule is a bit off kilter. Normally, I hit CVS solo since it requires extra brain cells.

Actually, thanks to my toddler, I learned something new today! Sara has discovered the new “magic coupon machine” and begs to swipe my card and retrieve the gold… I mean coupons. Out pops 2.

Well, of course, Leah has to get in on the action too. I agreed to let her swipe my card once more, just to prevent a toddler melt down (yeah, great parenting, huh?) Well, moments later, out pops 3 more coupons!

What a discovery! On the third swipe, we see a “No more coupons available, check back tomorrow” message. Well that works for me! Apparently you can get new coupons every day from this nifty little gold mine.

Here is what I got today:

$3/$10 CVS Brand Purchase
$1/2 Gold Emblem Candy (actually a CVS Brand)
$1/3 CVS Brand Toothbrushes
$2.50 off any Pain Reliever Purchase of $10
$1 on any Hand or Body Lotion

And on Monday:

$3 off any Revlon cosmetic (already used it)
$5 off any Sun Effects Sun Care
$1 off any Jergens Natural Glow
$3 on Mag-Ox (what the heck is Mag-Ox??)

I can definitely put a few of these to good use. Remember, you can always use a manufacturer and a CVS store coupon together on one item.
