My latest trip to CVS was a let down. I was hoping to score on the Febreze deal this week (Buy $10, earn $5 ECB) but somebody had wiped the shelves clean. Oh well, I am learning not to sweat every single deal.
I did find a CVS coupon at the front counter. Don’t get too excited. It is on a small list of “recommended” school supplies- $5 off a $30 stationary purchase. I am not planning a major stationary purchase anytime soon, but maybe you need to stock up on cards. If so, look for the black and yellow pamphlet.
The magic coupon machine has been generous this week. I have received 3 coupons for $1/2 Gold Emblem Pretzels or Crackers. Use this on the small bags of pretzels priced at 2/$0.99 to get them FREE!

Here is decent deal this week from iheartcvs if you need some free sunscreen:
CVS suncare is buy one get one 50% off (prices starting at $1.89).
So you should be able to get 2 free, or close to free, per transaction:
For Example-
suncare $1.99
suncare $1.00 (50% off)
– $2 off cvs brand skincare
– $1 off cvs brand suncare
= profit of $.01

Alyssa, next time something like that happens, ask for a raincheck. That way you will still be able to get the deal, just when they restock. My CVS is notorious for not restocking their great deals, so getting rainchecks helps.

Hi,
I have a question not about CVS but about Rite Aid. Seeing as how you live in DFW, do you know if there are any Rite Aids in the area around Plano or McKinney? I tried looking on their website and it says No. [moan, groan] But Yellow Pages online lists some in Dallas and one in Plano? I just wanted to make sure. If they don’t have any Rite Aids here, I will be sad as I’m reading about such good deals there!
Love your site!
Thanks,
Geri

I don’t live in DFW, but I am usually the one who wipes out my CVS. However, it is a small store and they just do not carry many of the same items. I try to be courteous for other bargain CVSers, but the early bird gets the worm, right?
