Oh, y’all! I can’t tell you how devastated I was when I woke up sick on Sunday and realized that I could not make it to CVS! It was horrible! I had that rockin’ $4/$20 Q (that expired on Sunday!!!) and free TRESemme on my mind. I was a mess. Just ask my Hubz 😉
But, I have GREAT news! I was able to visit my favorite store yesterday (Hallelujah!) AND I was able to use my $4/$20 Q!!! I told my cashier that it was expired, and she wanted to try it anyway (yes, I swear it was her idea!)… and it worked! The cashier was sooo nice when my TRESemme Q’s did not want to scan. She never once complained, and kept trying until all six were scanned. I love my CVS! And my bonus??? That TRESemme was free!
I did a few other deals (and then used all of my ECB’s on other stuff I found), and when my ECB’s printed, the sweet cashier was like, “Woah, you are going to be happy when you see all of these!”
I got the Dove Skin Vitalizer for $0.25; the Dove face cleansing pads for $0.99 (cause I scanned my Extra Care card when I walked into the store and got a $2.50 Q for any Dove face product) $0.75 Cacao bars (yum-o!); Vitamin conditioner with a Try-Me-Free rebate;
FREE TRESemme hairspray and styling creme; John Frieda hairspray and mousse (spend $15, get $5 ECB)…. and dangit, I left my Q’s for this at home, and didn’t realize until I got home… so, I lost $4 in Q’s; I also forgot my Crest Q’s and ACT Q’s (man!); $5 CVS toilet paper and paper towels; CVS diapers (love these!); and an organizer (on clearance).
Total OOP for both transactions – $52.00
Total Value – $142.11
Total Savings – $90.11 or 63.4%
Overall, not bad for forgetting $5 in ECB’s (from last week’s run) and $8 in Q’s (dangit!).
How did YOU do this week?
