Super Saturday Savings

Sooo… I hit Target on Tuesday night by myself!  It was a great trip.  I was in the store for at least 3 hours.  I took my time, snagging the deals and grabbing a few other things.  Man, that dollar section could break a girl!

I did two transactions with the BEST cashier EVA!  Seriously.  She was so good, I went directly to customer service and got one of those “good job” cards (or whatever) that I can send in to Corporate, and she will end up with a gift card.  So, Laura, if you ever read this, I am a fan for life! She was so nice and patient with my large stack of coupons… several of which (mainly Target Q’s) that did not want to scan.

Transaction #1

Total OOP = $67.33

*Plus, I will send in for the Kellogg’s Rebate on the Eggo Bake Shops (which are soooo yummy!)*

Everything was purchased using a coupon except for the milk and yogurt.  A BIG thank-you to Stephanie and Rachel for their Target coupon/sale match-ups.  I followed their lists exactly.

I spent 19¢ on ice cream, made 12¢ on the Johnson’s Buddies, got several travel items for free or better, and yummy Kashi cereal bars and cereal… although I didn’t get as many boxes as Rachel did!

Transaction #2

Do you see the M&M’s?  I got them for FREE!  I also got the FlatBread Melts for free, too.  And the jeans?  I got those for A for $4.98… a savings of 75%.   Everything else was a steal, too!  I felt like I had stolen items from Target because I came out with so much!

A and I went to Homeland on Wednesday before church.  She is my “official” coupon shopping buddy.  She named herself.  She really loves to go shopping with me, and insists on doing all of the “work”, including putting items in the cart and loading them on to the checkout counter.  She is excellent help.

I actually did my own sale/coupon match-ups for this trip!  I don’t usually do this well.  I only spent 25¢ on the Quaker Delights… they were on for $2.25, and after my $1/1 coupon doubled, it came out to 25¢!  The Oscar Mayer hot dogs were free with a coupon, and the BallPark Franks came out to 69¢ each after sale and coupon.  After sale and $1/1 Q, the Bounty napkins came to 99¢.

For my Homeland shopping trips, I use Christi’s 2 Cents coupon/sale match-ups.
