Homeland - OOP $51.62 / Savings $36.08 (41%)
So, this Homeland trip was not my biggest savings ever, but everything I got was a need or on sale with a coupon. I normally purchase my flour and sugar in bulk either at Sam’s (or Walmart for the ww flour) or during a big sale. Well, I ran out of my stockpile of both, and had to pay full price. That happens sometimes, and that is okay.
The eggs were only 89¢ each (limit 2)! My husband had already gone to the store to get eggs (did you read about my baking days?!), so I was able to get 2 more at this great price. Yay!
The chickens were 99¢/lb, which is a GREAT price for our little town!
I also hit CVS on Sunday… and I took a picture, but I can’t find it now. I do know that I got some FAB black nailpolish (and no, those Revlon Q’s did NOT work for me, darn it!) that was more than worth the 99¢ I paid for it! I got a few other things, but I can’t even find my receipt. Ugh.
