I have talked a lot about joy in the last few weeks. We know that some days, finding joy is more effort than others.
But what about hope? The Christmas season is a time of rebirth and hope. Hope for love. Hope for the new year.
I love the words from the old hymn, The Solid Rock: “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.”
That is truly where my hope rests… in Jesus Christ.
His birth and resurrection is what our family is celebrating this year. We are so excited to be attending our first Christmas Eve service, where the Christmas story will be read.
This Christmas, our family will be remembering and rejoicing in the birth of the One who would ultimately save us all. He is where our hope and joy lies.
I pray that this Christmas, your family will find hope in Jesus, the life He lived, and what He did for everyone.
May your family and your Christmas be joyous and blessed.

Sending wishes to you and yours for a Very Merry Christmas! Stay well!
This year, my son and I have been asked to light the Advent candles at the Christmas Eve service. I feel this is such an honor! This is the first time for both of us to light candles in church. I am pretty sure I will tear up, but I don’t think Jesus will mind. 😉
