Weekly Savings Report

I hadn’t been grocery shopping in awhile, thanks to Blissdom and some snow, so I went ALL OUT last Sunday afternoon! I spent 3 and a half hours grocery shopping! (that does not include the hour round-trip drive).

Now, before you think I’m really slow a nut, know that I had to get a ton of stuff, and I just took my time 🙂 I was doing some major coupon-shopping, y’all, and I was havin’ fun!

I have my receipts, but I’m too lazy to figure up how much I saved. I know it was a lot, as most of what I purchased from Walmart was on sale, and with coupons.

I do remember the Oreos (from Tom Thumb) were FREE after sale and coupon, and the Jennie-O turkey ended up being BOGO, plus $1/2… so I spent $1.98 for each tray. I think my total from Tom Thumb was spent $25 saved $30? Something like that.

For this week’s shopping trip, I will be using Tom Thumb and Kroger match-ups from Couponing 101, and Homeland match-ups from Simple Saving Savvy. Thanks, girls!
