Congratulations, Andre. You should have received an email from me, and you have 48 hours to reply!

The new year is well underway, and I’m betting some of those resolutions we all made on January 1st are falling to the wayside.

Hopefully none of those fallen resolutions are FRUGAL ones, but if they were, I have something to get you back on track!

Philips Norelco is wanting to help you go frugal this year with a new “cut-your-hair-at-home” campaign, and they are providing one of my readers with their very own Philips Norelco 180 Hair Clipper/Trimmer!

I truly LOVE this clipper! It is very easy to use and light-weight. My husband loves it, too, as long as I use the right head 😀

To date, I have trimmed my hubby’s hair, my daddy’s hair, Alyssa‘s hubby’s hair (see photo… yes, that is a trash bag he is wearing), and Alyssa’s stepson’s hair. My house is turning into a regular beauty parlor barber shop! Ha!

All of my “customers” have loved the way the trimmer feels, and were very satisfied with their haircuts. Maybe I have a calling as a hair dresser…

Specs:
:: Easy D-I-Y cutting: Special combs closely follow every contour of your head and turn 180 degrees for the spots you can’t see
:: 10 Lock-in length settings: Adjustable clipper combs provide 10 lockable length settings for a wide range of styles up to 7/8 inch (22 mm) in length.
:: Easy grip for total control: Specifically designed for self-haircutting.
:: Charging time: 8 hours for up to 60 minutes of cordless use.
:: Corded or cordless operation: Operates with or without a cord.
:: Easy hair cutting: Revolutionary self-sharpening stainless steel blades cut hair precisely and evenly.
:: Precision Trimmer: For easy contouring, finishing, and touch-ups.
:: Extra strong motor: For superior cutting results.
:: Maintenance Free: Self-sharpening stainless steel blades need no oiling.

I have been cutting my boys’ hair for awhile now. Not only do they stay still for me, but it saves me money!!!!

My favorite frugal tip is to shop the clearance end caps at target. I can not even begin to tell you how many FREE things I have gotten from there with coupons!

One of my tips, always gracery shop on a full stomach. less likely to buy things not on your list. My family also all go to mommy’s beauty salon/barber shop so these would be put to great use. Cordless is wonderful!!

Make a grocery list and stick to it. Plan meals around whats on sale or you have a coupon for. That’s my tip! 🙂

    What a great giveaway!

My favorite frugal tip is to make your own baby wipes with paper towels, baby oil, baby bath, and water. With 3 kids in diapers at once, it saved me a lot of money. And they make nicer wipes, and are also good for cleaning up messes, and for washing your face.

We have 4 boys ages 2.5 to 6 and I cut all of their hair and my husbands as well. Our clippers just broke, so these would be a great win!

Frugal tip, hmm…well, my biggest thing is to compare sales ads w/ the coupons that I have! I am getting pretty good at coupon shopping!

I have many money saving tips that I practice daily. We re-use things, I budget for groceries, I make powdered milk when we run out of the “real” thing, I hang my clothes outside to dry (except, not THIS winter), I yard sale and consignment shop, I coupon, we set our thermostat to conserve energy and money, and lots more. And I really enjoy all of it!
    Would love to win! 5langfordatcomcastdotnet

My favorite frugal tip is to use a shopping list and stick to it. It really does help.
this is a great giveaway. My husband has a pair of shears and cuts our sons hair. Most of the time it doesn’t lay right. These clippers sound like they would do a much better job.

Good question! Hmm my best frugal tip is keep up w/the mom blogs, they offer you tons of ways to save $$ and get free items! Also don’t leave home w/o coupons! 🙂

  9. bethanyb says

my favorite frugal tip is to be organized! if i’m not organized, i don’t know where this coupon is for that sale and i end up missing a great deal. OR, i just forget that i even have the coupon to match with the deal. i hate that!

  10. Andre says

Favorite frugal tip- make a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly menu for your family and shop ONLY off the menu. This is hard, especially with little ones, and my individual sweet tooth, but oh so effective!

  11. Vicki Wurgler says

My favorite frugal tip is shop garage sales-I shop during the summer-I pick up clothes & winter coats in great condition

  12. Rachel says

Favorite frugal tip? Stock up when stuff is on sale and shop CVS weekly. I always get the items for overage even if just to donate so I can ‘make money’ for other items I need. Recycle ECBs often, and save them up for BIG items!

  13. jane norton says

Favorite frugal tip: Making my own laundry detergent (it also makes my clothes look and smell so clean!)

  14. Rachel says

Loyal email subscriber here! I would love to win this….my son needs a haircut fairly often and this would save a LOT of money! Thanks for the great give away!!
