Are you ready for after school snack requests? I always make sure I have healthy snacks on hand for my kiddos after school. No junk food in our home!

I was pleased to learn about this next sponsor of the Back to School Bonanza, a maker of all natural whole nut and fruit bars. Yum!

KIND Healthy Snacks

At KIND we craft delicious, healthful foods from wholesome all-natural ingredients you can see and pronounce.® We believe that food should never be processed to the point that you can no longer tell what it is! That’s why we use whole nuts and fruit, and bind them together with honey through a natural process that keeps them fresh, brings out their flavor, and achieves just the right amount of crunch.

Since I love working with brands who give back, I am honored to spread the word about The Great Kindess Challenge coming up next week. KIND is a proud sponsor of the one day event on August 14th; a day where kids around the world participate in acts of kindness, using a checklist of 50 suggestions. Participation is easy, free and fun!  Just visit the website (http://www.greatkindnesschallenge.org) to download the FREE checklist.

There are things you can do wherever you are that day, in whatever time you have, by yourself or with others. They are aiming for 1 million youth participants this year.  Let’s rock the world with kindness on August 14!

This is a great opportunity to be an example to your children, so encourage them to get involved.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12

To help celebrate The Great Kindness Challenge, KIND Snacks is generously offering $100 worth of delicious snack bars to one KingdomFirstMom.com reader! Just in time for those hungry kids after school.

Our son is autistic and loves light switches, so my husband is working on a lap board with different switches and lights to turn on so we can “play” together (instead of it being isolatory). If it works, we want to make one for the local autism center, his preschool, and the other major preschool that helps ASD kids in the area. They looove light switches LOL.
