Storing Food to Eat Well and Spend Less

Last month, I got brave and showed you the contents of my pantry. It wasn’t pretty.

Well, my pantry is finally ready for its makeover reveal. Cleaning it out was quite a process! But I am so thankful it is done as I am enjoying the fruits of my labor. A clean, organized pantry makes meal planning and snack grabbing so much easier. Especially during the summer!

Here it is, my freshly organized pantry in all its glory:

My glass storage jars for dry goods make me swoon! Everything has a home and I can quickly assess what I have on hand.

Some of the frugal musts that you may notice in my pantry: raw honey, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil and baking soda. Always on hand!

Now I wonder how long it will stay this way…

The pantry looks great. We took a utility room of the garage and turned it into a pantry. I really have to work hard to keep it clean and organized. And other things are trying to slowly creep in but I keep tossing them out. It was a junk all room for 5 years until I claimed it~

@DonnaJ, What a great way to be resourceful, Donna! I know what you mean about things creeping in. I really have to stay on top of my clutter, too. 🙂

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

WONDERFUL! What would you do if you only had a regular size closet to use? I am in a mobile home. Thanks.

You have a clean and beautiful pantry! I love to have that one, but since I got 4 kids to consider my pantry for sure will always be empty! 🙂
