Abby Grace has played basketball for two years now, and one thing has alluded her. She has never made a basket.
It isn’t for lack of trying; she actually has a really nice shot, and consistently makes a basket in practice. But during a game, her shots (which were good shots!) tended to bounce in and then out.
On Saturday, she, as well as her entire team, played their very best game ever. Abby stole the ball several times, was awesome on defense, and made several (failed) attempts at a basket. She has also learned to dribble extremely well with both her right AND left hands, tended to favor her left during this game.
At the very end of the game, Abby stole the ball, made a fast break, and shot the ball right on the buzzer…. and it went IN!
