Questions About Mom {Part 2}

I asked my girls these questions last year, and thought it would be fun to see how their answers have changed.

1. What is something mom always says to you?
Abby Grace (almost 9) – “I love you.”
Reese – (7) “That’s a one.”
Meleah – (4.5) “Stop sucking your thumb.” and “No playing Barbies before church.”

2. What makes mom happy?
Abby Grace – Playing basketball together.
Reese – When we give you kisses and cards and love on you.
Meleah – When we help you.

3. What makes mom sad?
Abby Grace – When your computer breaks down.
Reese – When you lose something important.
Meleah – When Campbell loses his toys.

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
Abby Grace – When you put oils on my feet.
Reese – When you tickle me.
Meleah – When you tickle me.

5. What was your mom like as a child?
Abby Grace – A horrible basketball player (I saw the videos).
Reese – You had brown hair, bangs, you wore dresses a lot, and you had glasses.
Meleah – A human.

6. How old is your mom?
Abby Grace – 32.
Reese – 25.
Meleah – 6.

7. How tall is your mom?
Abby Grace – 6 ft.
Reese – 18 ft. {Clearly, we need to work on math}
Meleah – 3 of an inch and a half.

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
Abby Grace – Homeschooling us.
Reese – Spend time with us.
Meleah – Do something on your computer.

9. What does your mom do when you’re not around?
Abby Grace – Hold down Cam while you try to put him down for a nap.
Reese – Work.
Meleah – Go to the grocery store.

10. If your mom becomes famous, for what will it be?
Abby Grace – Being the perfect mom.
Reese – For Jesus.
Meleah – Singing.

11. What is your mom really good at?
Abby Grace – Taking care of us. And typing fast.
Reese – Basketball {obviously, there are contradicting opinions}. And teaching.
Meleah – Rocking Cam to sleep.

12. What is your mom not very good at?
Abby Grace – Getting Cam to nap. {Again, differing opinions.}
Reese – At cleaning up our room because you broke one of my toys a long long time ago, so you are bad at cleaning.
Meleah – Changing Cam’s diaper.

13. What does your mom do for her job?
Abby Grace – Blogs.
Reese – You teach us.
Meleah – Chores.

14. What is your mom’s favorite food?
Abby Grace – Lasagna.
Reese – Pancakes.
Meleah – Salad.

15. What makes you proud of your mom?
Abby Grace – You love us and you take care of us.
Reese – When you teach us at school.
Meleah – That you clean the kitchen for us.

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
Abby Grace – Dora.
Reese – Mickey Mouse
Meleah – The purple hippo on Madagascar.

17. What do you and your mom do together?
Abby Grace – We shop and cook together.
Reese – We do school and go to the chiropractor together.
Meleah – Cook.

18. How are you and your mom the same?
Abby Grace – We sound the same.
Reese – We look alike.
Meleah – We have blue eyes, skin, teeth, and lips.

19. How are you and your mom different?
Abby Grace – Our hair color, and you wear glasses.
Reese – Your feet are bigger than mine.
Meleah – We don’t have the same dresses.

20. How do you know your mom loves you?
Abby Grace – By homeschooling and taking care of us.
Reese – You kiss me, and love on me, and hug me, and tell me.
Meleah – You love on me.

21. Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?
Abby Grace – Starbucks.
Reese – Starbucks.
Meleah – Robertson’s.
