Our school room/office hasn’t changed too much since last year, but some of the way I organize has (and of course the desks received a makeover!) so I’ll share it again.
We use the fourth bedroom as both my office and a place for doing our school work. We have used both the living room and dining room as “school” rooms, but my girls and I work best where the distractions are minimal, so a separate room it is.
One thing that has changed since last year, is that we removed the closet doors. One kept coming off its hinges, so we just replaced them with curtains. I can’t stand seeing inside a closet, no matter how organized it is, I just feel disorganized with it exposed. So I keep it covered and everything feels nice and neat.
I also moved one of the shelves into the closet because my very pregnant belly (and then carrying Cam in the Moby) made working around the computer desk impossible. The desk has now been moved to the place where the shelf was, and I can get right up to the dry erase board when needed.
