On Friday, I shared my decadent gluten-free brownies. For that recipe, I used chocolate chips, but I thought with this giveaway, I would put on a fun twist and use HERSHEY’S KISSES Milk Chocolates in place of the chocolate chips. To substitute, simply replace the 12 oz of chocolate chips with 12 oz of HERSHEY’S KISSES Milk Chocolates. Of course, I used the HERSHEY’S Cocoa, too. Both of these ingredients are gluten-free, according to the HERSHEY’S website. {See the entire list of gluten-free HERSHEY’S products here.} The result? Insanely tasty brownies again! We may never go back to regular ‘ole brownies, as these gluten-free ones suit us just fine.
HERSHEY’S sent me a lot of yummy Easter candy, and I thought I would experiment with some of it. The HERSHEY’S KISSES Peanut Butter Blossoms are so fun, but I wanted something different. Included in the box was a bag of ROLO Candies. ROLO Candies + Peanut Butter Cookies = Delish. Add some HERSHEY’S Cocoa to the mix, and you get major sweetness. And fun. Lots and lots of fun.
Chocolate Peanut Butter ROLO Candy Cookies
- ¾ c. REESE’S Creamy Peanut Butter
- ¾ c. butter, cut into pieces and softened
- ½ c. brown sugar, packed
- 1½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. HERSHEY’S Cocoa
- ¾ tsp. baking soda
Using a mixer, beat together butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar for five minutes, or until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
In a separate bowl, sift flour, cocoa, and baking soda. By one-half cups, add this mixture to the wet ingredients. Do not over mix.
Drop cookies onto parchment-covered cookie sheet. I use a cookie scoop, but a spoon would work just fine.
Bake at 350° for 12 – 15 minutes (mine are finished after 13). Remove from the oven and gently press a ROLO (or half of a ROLO) into each cookie. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Oh my goodness. Y’all. These are so good. And I love the fun spin they take on plain peanut butter cookies. The fam gave them two thumbs up!
And speaking of fun, there are tons of great Easter recipe and basket ideas on the Celebrate with Hershey’s website! My girls love crafts, and while I’m not Ms. Crafty Mom, I could probably pull off this Flower Pot Bouquet Craft without too many hitches.
Ok, so now that you are finished drooling over those cookies, how about a giveaway? Remember the box of HERSHEY’S Easter candy I mentioned? You can win one of your own!
