If you are new here, or are visiting from the Write 31 Days website, welcome! And hello to all of my faithful readers. 🙂 The posts for this year’s challenge have started. You can find them right here: 31 Days 2014.
It’s almost October, which means it’s time for the 31 Days Challenge. I did this for the first time last year, and I really enjoyed it. I wrote about Young Living Essential Oils for thirty-one days, which was a record for me.
This year, I want to touch on self-care, as it is a place I really need to go, personally. There are a few things I’ve done that I want to share, as well as what I need to work on. This is sure to be a fun month, and I’m thankful we will not be going on vacation during this challenge like we did last year. Ha!
A few of the topics include:
- getting enough rest
- what we eat
- exercise (oy… y’all just don’t know how I struggle here!)
- environment
- spiritual health
- having energy
Simply for reference, this series on self-care is written for me. Of course many of the methods, tips, and ideas will apply to and work for most people, but some will not. I share what works for me, and I hope you all enjoy it, but take it with a grain of salt. We are all different, and in different stages of life, and not everything works or helps others in the same way. That being said, I am SO excited to share this with all of you! I am learning as I go, so bear with me.
I am jumping on board with the Hello Mornings session that begins October 6. I’m so excited! (Psst… registration is still open if this interest you!) Some of my spiritual health/faith topics may include my thoughts on this study.
This challenge begins on October 1, so that is when you will see my first post. If you are interested in writing through this challenge, check out the Write 31 Days site for more information. If you are simply interested in following along on others’ 31 Day journey, the links will be open around 8 pm on October 1. Be sure to look back after October 5 (when the link-up closes) to find even more topics. I love reading what others are writing!

I’m looking forward to your October posts, Amy. I really struggle with the exercise, too. I know how important it is, yet….
