My Week of CVSing: May 11-17

While this was not my personal best, I still came in well under $5.00 OOP for the week, so I am very happy!

I did 4 transactions this week (not all at once). I tried 4 different stores for the awesome deal on Hawaiian Tropic Lip Balm, but never found it.

Here is what I ended up with:

Paid: $1.97, $5 ECB

1 Freedom Lite Glucose Monitor (FREE after ECB May deal)
2 Ziploc Twist ‘n Lock containers
1 Simply Asia noodle bowl (filler)

$1.50/2 Ziploc container coupon from 5/11 insert
Paid: $9.38, $2 ECB
Total OOP: 0.12 (The cashier actually told me that I was her “hero”)
Saved: $83.64 (most of that was the monitor)
Earned: $10 ECB

I went to a different CVS, one I had never tried.

1 much needed gallon of Milk
2 Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste
1 Colgate Spongebob toothbrush
1 Rolaids (great filler, May deal)

Used $3/15 coupon- but they gave me a really hard time about it!

0.50 Colgate kids coupon from insert
Paid: $6 ECB
Total OOP: $2.65 (that’s ok, I got milk!)
Saved: $13.50
Earned: $2 ECB, $6 ECB

Stocked up on CHOCOLATE at my regular CVS!
2 bags Hershey’s Bliss
3 other various Hershey’s products

Used BOGO Hershey’s Bliss coupon
$1 Hershey’s Bliss coupon from reinventing beauty magazine
Paid: $6 ECB
Total OOP: 0.29
Saved: $13.28
Earned: $5 ECB (I lost $1, but I got chocolate, so it’s all good)

Grand Total OOP: $3.06!! Woo hoo! That is less than the milk alone would have cost the average CVS shopper.

My total savings was $129.39, not bad! I plan to donate the Glucose monitor to a nearby retirement home.

So, now you all know that I am not only addicted to coffee and Target, I am a chocoholic.
